Today marks the registration deadline, with the cut-off time set for 10:00 PM. Approximately 4 million registration slots remain available for this initiative. Disbursement of funds is scheduled to commence on June 1, 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, the registration period for the Thai Help Thai Plus project began on May 25 at 6:00 AM and will close today at 10:00 PM. By May 28, a total of 26,207,092 individuals had registered, with 25,480,764 successfully meeting the eligibility criteria. Out of the applicants, 474,341 were deemed ineligible, and a number of applications are pending confirmation. Notably, 75% of successful registrants, equating to approximately 18.8 million people, had previously participated in the "Half-Half Plus" project. The largest demographic among registrants is the 31-45 age group, followed by those aged 46-60 and 21-30.

In terms of commercial participation, a total of 1,025,038 shops have registered, including 977,296 existing businesses and 51,865 newcomers. The food and beverage sector leads in the number of registered shops, followed by government-subsidized outlets, OTOP (One Tambon One Product) shops, and public transportation vendors. The highest concentration of registered shops is located in the Northeast region and Bangkok.

The registration window for "Thai Helps Thai Plus" remains open until 10:00 PM today. The funds will be distributed starting June 1 and will be available for use until September 30, 2026. Participants will receive 1,000 baht per month, amounting to 4,000 baht over four months, with the government covering 60% and the public contributing 40%. Around 4 million slots are still open. These funds are intended for consumer goods, BTS Skytrain rides, public transportation, and taxis within the program. The government will subsidize up to 200 baht per day, with the stipulation that the 1,000 baht must be utilized within the month, as unused funds will not roll over to the subsequent month.

For the 13.2 million individuals holding state welfare cards, no registration is necessary. Beginning June 1, the government will increase their monthly benefit from 300 baht to 1,000 baht for a duration of four months, allowing cardholders to fully utilize the amount without the need for a 40% co-payment.
