Bangkok: The Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage has revealed the roster of 14 players for the Thai national women’s futsal team set to compete in the 2025 FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup. The tournament will take place from November 21 to December 7, 2025, in the Philippines, with “Coach O” Thanathorn Santanaprasit leading the team as head coach.
According to Thai News Agency, the Thailand women’s futsal team, currently ranked 4th in the world, is placed in Group B alongside Spain (ranked 2nd), Colombia (ranked 8th), and Canada (ranked 74th). The tournament’s group stage will determine the champions and runners-up from all four groups, who will then proceed to the final eight teams.
The selected athletes for the team include goalkeepers Sasiprapa Suksena from Bangkok and Nuengruethai Sornhong from Port Authority Imane MSU Samchuk. The defensive lineup features Hataichanok Thepkhun and Natthamon Ajkla, while Panwasa Kingthong, Lalida Chimpabut, Jenjira Buppha, Patitta Moonpho, Saengrawee Meekham, Saowapha Tangga, and Sasikan Thongdee fill the roles of defenders and wingers. The forward players are Darika Phianphailun, Praeploy Huajaiphet, and Ariya Sae-Ten.
The team is scheduled to depart for the Philippines from Suvarnabhumi International Airport on November 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Their tournament journey begins with a match against Spain on November 22 at 6:30 p.m. Thailand time, followed by a game against Canada on November 25 at 5:00 p.m., and the final group match against Colombia on November 28 at 5:00 p.m., all to be held at Philsports Arena in Manila, Philippines.
