Bangkok:Thai Packaging Industry Public Company Limited is set to commence trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on October 5, 2026. The company will be listed under the Industrial Products sector in the Packaging category, trading under the ticker symbol 'TIPAK'.
According to Thai News Agency, Thai Packaging Industry Public Company Limited has a rich history of over 50 years in developing and manufacturing corrugated paper packaging. The company offers a wide range of products, including customized corrugated paper sheets and boxes, which cater to the needs of diverse industries such as electrical appliances, food and beverages, agricultural products, and e-commerce. With an annual production capacity exceeding 140,000 tons of corrugated paper and over 170 million corrugated boxes, TIPAK aims to enhance brand identity for its clients while prioritizing sustainable growth through environmental management.
The funds raised from this IPO will be utilized to bolster production efficiency, improve the company's financial standing, and enhance its competitive edge, paving the way for sustainable business growth and shareholder returns. The company's CEO, Mr. Veerachai Mansinthorn, expressed optimism that the listing will support TIPAK in becoming a leader in the paper packaging industry by focusing on innovation and value addition.
TIPAK's Initial Public Offering (IPO) involves the issuance of 143.68 million shares at a price of 1.85 baht per share, with a total IPO value of 266 million baht and a market capitalization of 1,021 million baht at the IPO price. The offering, which took place from September 25 to 29, 2026, targeted individuals at the discretion of the lead underwriter, as well as company patrons, directors, and employees. The P/E ratio stands at 6.38 times, based on the net profit from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
Post-IPO, the Mansinthorn family holds a 39.90% stake in the company, while Thai VPC Business Co., Ltd. owns 34.07%. TIPAK has committed to a dividend policy of paying at least 50% of net profit after taxes and reserves. Maybank Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited acted as the financial advisor and underwriter, alongside Land and Houses Securities Public Company Limited.
