Canberra: A 19-gun salute was fired to welcome Anutin Charnvirakul on his official visit to Australia, marking a significant step in developing the strategic partnership between Thailand and Australia. The ceremony took place at the Ceremonial Forecourt in front of the Australian Parliament House, where Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, was received with honors.

According to Thai News Agency, upon his arrival at the Australian Parliament House, the Honourable Anthony Albanese MP greeted the Thai Prime Minister warmly and escorted him to the welcoming ceremony. The event included the inspection of the honor guard, accompanied by the national anthems of both countries. This ceremony underscored the close friendship and the importance of the relationship shared between Thailand and Australia.

Following the formalities, both Prime Ministers entered Parliament House, where Mr. Charnvirakul signed the guest book in the Marble Foyer and posed for commemorative photographs. This was in line with the Australian custom of receiving high-ranking foreign guests, reinforcing the mutual respect and cooperation between the two nations.

In a private session, the Prime Ministers engaged in a small group discussion at the Australian Prime Minister's office.
