Thai Stock Market Sees Significant Decline, Circuit Breaker Triggered

Bangkok: Thai stocks experienced a sharp decline as the Stock Exchange of Thailand closed this morning at 1,348.99 points, marking a decrease of 117.52 points, equivalent to an 8.01% drop. This significant fall in the market prompted the activation of Circuit Breaker Level 1 at 12:18 PM, shortly before the morning session concluded. The trading value was approximately 95,215 million baht.

According to Thai News Agency, the morning trading session saw a volatile movement, with the index swinging down more than 100 points. The market hit a low of 1,348.99 points while managing to reach a high of 1,515.99 points during the session.
