According to Thai News Agency, "Coach O" Thanathorn Santhanaprasit, head coach of the Thai women's futsal national team, said the team is currently about 80-90 percent ready. The focus is primarily on defensive tactics and correcting mistakes from the SEA Games. The past month of training has emphasized teamwork and a more aggressive playing style.
"Big Tae" Kritsada Sajjakul, manager of the Thai women's futsal national team, said that most of the players in this squad are 19-22 years old, with veteran players such as Darika Pienphaylun, who previously won a gold medal at the Asian Indoor Games, providing support. He expressed confidence that the Thai women's futsal team will win the championship.
The Thai women's futsal national team is scheduled to be in Group A with Indonesia and Malaysia. Their first match is against Indonesia on February 24th at 6:30 PM, and their second match is against Malaysia on February 26th at 6:30 PM, both at Terminal Hall, Terminal 21 Shopping Mall, Nakhon Ratchasima.
