'In tekkball, we have many world-class athletes and world champions. This time, we are competing in three categories: women's doubles, Jutathip Kanthathong and Supawadee Wongkamchan; men's doubles, Sorasak Taosiri and Jeerati Chanliang; and mixed doubles, Pakpong Dechcharoen and Supawadee Wongkamchan. If Thai athletes maintain their standard, we should be able to win all three gold medals as planned,' said Dr. Kongsak. The Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) further stated that throughout the competition, the Thai athletes have a chance to win gold medals in many sports. Besides teqball, these include sepak takraw, weightlifting, jujitsu, athletics, golf, taekwondo, sailing, esports, badminton, boxing, and the women's volleyball team, who are the reigning Asian champions. If teqball can secure its first gold medal, it will create a vibrant atmosphere for watching and cheering at this Asian Game s and serve as a good start towards achieving the target of 15 gold medals.
