Thailand Gears Up for the 33rd SEA Games with Full Readiness

Bangkok: Thailand is fully prepared to host the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), with the government extending an invitation to everyone to attend the much-anticipated opening ceremony. Tickets for the event can be reserved for free via the official website, www.seagames2025.org. Fans can also look forward to a performance by “BamBam,” a popular artist set to take the stage at the event.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ayrin Phanrit, Deputy Government Spokesperson, confirmed that Thailand is 100% ready to host the games. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, along with other government-assigned agencies, is making final preparations for the games scheduled from December 9 to 20, 2025. The event will showcase 50 sports, awarding a total of 574 gold medals, and will include three demonstration sports and one value-added sport. It promises to be the largest live broadcast event ever, with the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) being the primary host.

Ms. Airin further revealed that the opening ceremony on December 9, 2025, will feature a special performance by Mr. Kanpimuk Bhuwakul, known as “BamBam,” at Rajamangala National Stadium. Several other Thai artists will also grace the stage, and a significant surprise is in store for the Thai audience. The government, through the Sports Authority of Thailand, is facilitating free reservations for the opening ceremony tickets via the official website.
