Bangkok: The Center for Moral Development launches the THAILAND MORAL AWARDS 2025, expanding its initiative to include submissions of creative media works across eight categories, aiming to inspire Thailand towards a sustainable moral society.
According to Thai News Agency, the Thailand Moral Center (Public Organization) has announced the launch of the awards in the media category, along with awards for individuals, communities, and organizations. Associate Professor Dr. Suriyadev Tripathi, Director of the Thailand Moral Center, emphasized the commitment to promoting morality and driving sustainable development in Thailand. Since 2021, the awards have been centered around the concept of "Good people have a place, goodness has a place in society," honoring those who exemplify morality and serve as role models.
For the THAILAND MORAL AWARDS 2025 selection process, the Center will evaluate creative media that promotes morality through concepts, content, and formats that inspire positive change within communities and society. Awards will be presented in eight categories: drama, film, advertising, song, book, radio program, television program, and digital media.
Marking the 15th anniversary of the Thailand Moral Development Center, the awards for individuals, communities, and organizations aim to recognize and strengthen moral networks nationwide. Selection will focus on six social networks supported by the Center: government, private sector, education, religious, community and civil society, and media. The aim is to commend those consistently working in the field of morality and to build stronger networks.
Additionally, a panel discussion titled "From Awards to Change" will feature award recipients from 2024, including representatives from the Nursing Department of Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, and the animated series "Sati Ma: The Genius Little Monk."
Applications for the THAILAND MORAL AWARDS 2025 are open until June 12, 2026, with winners to be announced in August 2026. The awards ceremony will be held on August 28, 2026, at the Thailand Cultural Centre.
Media producers are invited to submit their work across all eight categories for trophies and certificates. Submissions can be made via the official website, in person, or by mail. More details are available on the website or the Moral Center Thailand's Facebook page.
