Bangkok: The Royal Thai Navy recently confirmed that Thailand has the authority to cancel MOU 44. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Akranan visited Bangkok to study the "Traffy Fondue" model, aiming to integrate it with a platform for reporting safety and welfare issues in schools. This integration is expected to streamline communication and reduce the bureaucratic load on teachers.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Akranan Kankittinant, Deputy Minister of Education, met with officials at Bangkok City Hall 2, Din Daeng, to learn about the Traffy Fondue platform. This system, currently in use in Bangkok, allows citizens to report urban problems via a LINE Chatbot. The Ministry of Education plans to adopt this platform for reporting issues related to student and teacher welfare, aiming to enhance efficiency and directness in addressing concerns.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the establishment of a "Center for the Protection of Rights and Freedoms" to oversee the welfare of students, teachers, and educational personnel. Recognizing the effectiveness of the Traffy Fondue system in addressing public issues swiftly, he expressed gratitude to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for their mentorship and collaboration in this initiative.
'Ensuring safety and well-being in educational institutions is our top priority. By utilizing an accessible platform like LINE for reporting issues, we can address problems such as infrastructure damage or unsafe school conditions in real time. This approach is aimed at reducing bureaucratic delays and providing direct, transparent solutions to the Minister of Education,' Mr. Akranan stated.
The Deputy Minister concluded by affirming the Ministry's commitment to improving safety and rights management through technology adoption. This initiative is expected to overcome previous challenges, with further discussions planned to establish a secure environment for students and teachers nationwide.
