Thailand’s Strategic Response to Middle East Crisis to Be Discussed at Government Forum

Bangkok: The government has announced an invitation for the public to tune into the 'Meet the Press' event titled "One Month into the Global Crisis: Thailand's Plan to Respond in a Changing World." This forum, scheduled for March 28, 2026, at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, will feature Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and a team of key ministers.

According to Thai News Agency, the event will include Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Minister of Commerce Supajee Suthamphan, Minister of Energy Attapol Rerkpipibun, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkaew, and Danucha Pichayanant, Secretary-General of the National Economic and Social Development Council. They will address the country's response to the ongoing Middle East crisis, which has significantly affected global energy prices and the cost of living.

The forum aims to provide transparency regarding the government's actions and plans for future support, emphasizing the need for adaptation under the concept "Adapt to Survive." The government is focused on alleviating public hardship and maintaining national stability in the long term.
