Bangkok: Captain Thamanat Phromphao, chairman of the advisory board of the Kla Tham Party, has issued a stern warning to political rivals, stating, "Nats can endure it," as he cautions all parties against aggressive tactics, threatening retaliation if provoked.

According to Thai News Agency, the Kla Tham Party is gearing up to hold 17 large-scale campaign rallies across the country, organized into provincial groups. A significant rally is planned for Bangkok, overseen by Ms. Pavina Hongsakul. The northeastern region's campaign efforts will be managed by Air Force Colonel Anudith Nakornthap.

The party has decided not to introduce new policies in the final run-up to the election, aiming to avoid creating "false hopes" among the public. Instead, the focus will be on feasible initiatives, including land for farming, water management, social welfare, and transforming secondary cities into hubs for tourism and sports.

In response to NIDA poll results that omitted the Kla Tham Party in Songkhla province, Captain Thamanat expressed confidence, citing his history of defying poll predictions and noting strong support from southern target areas, particularly in Songkhla.

Captain Thamanat also addressed a recent verbal altercation involving his party's candidate and another party's candidate. He emphasized the party's commitment to legal recourse rather than retaliation to prevent further escalation. However, he issued a stark warning that any provocation would be met with a strong response, declaring, "I won't attack anyone first, but if anyone attacks me first, they'll be in for a shock. Right now, I can still endure it."
