Government House,, The Cabinet has approved/agreed on the appointment of civil servants and qualified committee members on the committee. Ms. Kanika Ounjit, Deputy Government Spokesperson, revealed that the Cabinet meeting resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment to appoint 2 civil servants in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to high-level administrative positions to fill vacant positions and rotate them as follows: Ms. Ornuch Lohpeansri, Director-General of the Department of Groundwater Resources, holds the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary. Mr. Phadol Thawornkrichrat, Director-General of the Department of Water Resources, is appointed Director-General of the Department of Groundwater Resources. This is from the date of His Majesty's gracious appointment onwards. The Cabinet resolved to approve the proposal of the Minister of Finance to appoint Mr. Mahatthana Ampornpisit to the position of Director of the Deposit Protection Agency to replace the former Director of the Deposit Protection Agency who left the position before the end of the term due to resignation, effective from 23 July 2024 onwards. The Cabinet resolved to approve the proposal of the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) to appoint three qualified board members to the Equitable Education Fund Executive Board, as the original qualified board members completed their four-year terms on July 9, 2024, as follows: Khunying Kasama Voravan Na Ayutthaya, Academic Expert Committee Member Mr. Rungroj Rangsiyopas, Private Sector Expert Mr. Sorawit Paibulrattanakorn, Civil Society Expert This is effective from 23 July 2024 onwards. The Cabinet resolved to approve the Ministry of Public Health's proposal to appoint 7 qualified members to the National Health Security Board and 6 qualified members to the Public Health Service Quality and Standards Control Board, totaling 13 members, as the qualified members completed their four-year terms on May 4, 2024, as follows: The seven qualified members of the National Health Security Board are: 1.1 Mr. Wiroj Tangcharoensathien, health insurance; 1.2 Professor Piyamitr Sritara, medicine and public health; 1.3 Mr. Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, traditional Thai medicine; 1.4 Mr. Prateep Thanakitcharoen, alternative medicine; 1.5 Mrs. Manida Phucharoen, finance and treasury; 1.6 Mr. Suwich Chutrakul, law; 1.7 Associate Professor Apinya Wechayachai, social sciences.
