Bangkok: "Thepthai" has urged Anutin's government, the opposition, and the Senate to expedite the implementation of a new constitution based on the referendum results. Political observer Thepthai Senpong posted a message on his Facebook page, "Thepthai - Political Talk," stating: A wake-up call: Demanding the results of the constitutional amendment referendum.

According to Thai News Agency, amidst a series of challenging political situations plaguing the government of Anutin Charnvirakul, which has forced the government to struggle to cope and resolve various issues, there is a major national problem that both the ruling and opposition parties must address. This problem stems from the consensus of the Thai people: the referendum on amending or drafting a new constitution, where 21.6 million votes supported the drafting of a new constitution. Therefore, all sectors must cooperate to ensure its success in accordance with the referendum results, which all parties must respect.

Thepthai emphasized the urgency for the government, which holds the majority in the House of Representatives, to expedite and initiate the drafting of a new constitution. He also called upon the opposition parties to support this endeavor. Furthermore, even though members of the Senate are under scrutiny regarding their acquisition of their positions through collusion, block voting, or election fraud, they must continue to perform their duties as members of parliament until the cases are finalized.

He stressed that these three parties-the ruling political party, the opposition political party, and the senators-must push for the drafting of a new constitution that reflects the will of the people in the referendum. The overwhelming majority voted for a new constitution, demonstrating that the entire Thai nation rejects the 2017 constitution and desires a better one that truly originates from the people and is accepted by all.

Thepthai, as an independent political analyst, underscored the importance of drafting a new constitution amidst numerous problems facing the country that require cooperation from all parties to resolve. He called for a new constitution, the supreme law of the land, based on the principle that a good constitution, truly democratic, can solve all of the country's problems.
