Thousands Gather to Honor Queen Sirikit’s Royal Urn

Bangkok: The people pay their respects to the royal corpse in great numbers. People from all over the country traveled to pay their respects to the royal urn of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.

According to Thai News Agency, this morning, at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, a large crowd of people from Bangkok and other provinces flocked to pay their respects before the royal urn of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. They paid their respects in tribute to Her Majesty’s gracious deeds, both large and small, improving the lives of the people. Those who paid their respects before the royal urn were presented with a portrait of Her Majesty, a lasting reminder of her benevolence.

For paying respects to the royal urn, officials from the Royal Household Bureau will be on hand to facilitate and provide advice at every step to ensure order and respect for the royal family. The procession will be divided into four time slots: 8:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m., 12:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and 7:45 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
