According to Thai News Agency, Bandai Co. is showcasing the Tamagotchi ring, a 2.8-centimeter device celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic Tamagotchi virtual pet series. This innovative device allows users to raise 30 different characters, adding a modern twist to the nostalgic toy.

The company also features a section dedicated to the popular manga and anime franchise "Chiikawa." Among the standout products is the Chiikawa Phone Smart, a toy equipped with a camera and apps, providing children with a realistic smartphone experience.

Tomy Co. is presenting a model of Plarail railway toys inspired by the iconic Doctor Yellow high-speed test train. Measuring 47 centimeters in length, this model is designed to run powerfully on the track, delighting train enthusiasts of all ages.

Reflecting recent social trends, MegaHouse Corp. introduces the Investment Ranking board game, where players can grow their wealth by investing in stocks and cryptocurrencies. This game aims to educate and entertain simultaneously.

In response to rising electricity fees, Bandai's innovative power generator-like toy, featuring a character from the children's picture book and anime series "Anpanman," teaches children about the importance of electricity. Kids can enjoy sounds and lights generated by power produced through a hand crank.

The Tokyo Toy Show will continue through Sunday at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center, offering a glimpse into the future of play.

The Japanese toy market reached a record high of 1,166.4 billion yen in fiscal 2025, which ended last March, as reported by the Japan Toy Association, the organizer of the show.
