Pattaya: Tommy's mother expressed her frustration after police arrived late to search the home of Wang Xian, a fugitive Chinese national, suspected to be hiding there. According to Thai News Agency, Tommy's parents have demanded that Sergeant Kings lead the Crime Suppression Division, Nong Prue police, and Immigration officers to search the property, believed to be Wang's hideout after evading capture for seven months.

The family's anger stems from an incident on February 21st, when Tommy, a 16-year-old Thai-Swedish boy, died in an accident involving a pickup truck driven by a Chinese man. The driver, who executed an illegal U-turn without signaling, fled the scene after Tommy's motorcycle collided with the truck. Despite being severely injured, Tommy received no assistance from the driver, who took advantage of the chaos to escape. Although the accident took place seven months ago, the suspect remains at large.

This morning, Sergeant Kings Taengtim and Tommy's family coordinated with the Crime Suppression Division, Nong Prue Police Station, and Immigration Police to inspect Wang Xian's residence. Despite the plan to commence the search at 5 AM, officers only arrived at 6:30 AM, much to the dismay of Tommy's mother, who criticized the delay given the short distance from the police station. She voiced her frustration with the situation and the perceived inefficiency of the police, questioning whether the delay allowed Wang to escape.

Upon searching the residence, officers found only one Chinese man and two Thai women, all claiming to be new tenants and unaware of Wang's whereabouts. The search failed to locate the fugitive, further exacerbating the family's distress.

Tommy's family has previously received tips suggesting Wang had been seen near the residence, including feeding dogs. They believe these leads should be pursued more vigorously. Displaying Tommy's photographs to the media, the family emphasized their desire for the authorities to act swiftly and bring Wang to justice as per the arrest warrant issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court.
