According to Thai News Agency, PTT Oil and Retail Public Company Limited (OR) has worked closely with relevant government agencies in inspecting its oil depots, ensuring that the management of oil adheres to standards and is verifiable. In March, inspections were conducted across all of OR's petroleum and oil depots by various government agencies, including the Department of Energy Business, the Provincial Energy Office, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Excise Department, local police, and the Department of Provincial Administration. The results of these inspections concluded that oil management complied with established guidelines and standards.
The audit of OR's facilities, including the Surat Thani Petroleum Depot, covered daily oil receipt and disbursement data from March 1-31, 2026, as well as daily oil stockpiles, and compared overall oil volumes between February and March 2026. The audit confirmed that both of OR's petroleum storage facilities met standards, with receipt, disbursement, and inventory levels consistent with data reported to regulatory agencies. No evidence of hoarding or illegal activities was found.
