Tragic Crash on Bang Bua Thong-Suphan Buri Road Claims 1 Life and Injures 7

Nonthaburi: A tragic accident occurred when a pickup truck crashed into the back of a passenger van on the Bang Bua Thong-Suphan Buri Road, resulting in one death and seven injuries.

According to Thai News Agency, police from Sai Noi Police Station, along with forensic doctors and the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, investigated the accident in Sai Noi District, Nonthaburi Province. The collision involved a pickup truck striking a passenger van, which then impacted a tree. The van, a Suphan Buri-Bangkok Bus Terminal passenger van, bore Suphan Buri license plates. The incident left the van’s front severely damaged and the right rear impacted from the collision with the tree.

Four men and three women sustained injuries during the crash and were transported to a hospital for medical attention. Tragically, one passenger, identified as Mr. Nukul, who was seated in the back next to the driver, was killed.

Located about 500 meters from the initial crash site, a Ford pickup truck was identified as the other vehicle involved. The truck driver reported that the van had been traveling in the right lane but abruptly swerved left to pick up a roadside passenger, which led to the accident.
