Bang pu: A trailer truck collided with a series of power poles in the Bang Pu area, resulting in damage stretching nearly two kilometers. The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) is currently engaged in urgent repair efforts to address the situation.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred when a container truck snagged power lines, leading to the collapse of power poles from the curve in front of Muang Samut Bang Pu Hospital to Soi Bang Pu Municipality 81. In response, the MEA has activated an emergency plan, deploying personnel from various regions to set up temporary power poles and reconnect cables. The repairs are anticipated to be completed, with power expected to be restored by approximately 11:00 PM. Further permanent repairs will be carried out at a later date.

The damage also extended to several streetlights, CCTV cameras, and bus stops in the affected area, with the full extent of the damage still under evaluation.
