Bangkok: The Treasury Department is set to hold its inaugural electronic auction of the rare and valuable "10 Baht coin of 1990" through the Treasury Coin Market system.
According to Thai News Agency, this marks the first time the Treasury Department is conducting an electronic auction of coins, with the event scheduled to take place in 2026. The auction will feature the highly sought-after 10-baht coin from 1990, known for its rarity and value among collectors. The registration for participation opens on August 14, 2026, at 8:30 AM and will close on August 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Interested participants must register as members and deposit the required amount within the specified timeframe, which is from August 14, 2026, at 8:30 AM to August 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Payments can be made through Krung Thai Bank accounts and credit cards from all banks up until August 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The auction itself is slated to begin on August 24, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
