Trinuch Confirms Support for Anutin as Prime Minister Amidst Coalition Developments

Bangkok: "Trinuch" has confirmed her participation in the government alongside the Bhumjaithai Party and her support for Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister, although ministerial quotas remain undecided.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Treenuch Thianthong, Minister of Labour and leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, provided an update on the coalition government's progress. She acknowledged that the Palang Pracharath Party has chosen to join forces with the Bhumjaithai Party, backing Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul for the Prime Ministerial position.

Ms. Treenuch clarified that discussions regarding ministerial quotas or positions have not yet taken place. She emphasized her support for Mr. Anutin, highlighting their shared commitment to addressing economic concerns for the populace and their history of effective collaboration. However, there have been no talks regarding specific roles within the government.

When questioned about her potential continuation as the head of the Ministry of Labour, Ms. Treenuch reiterated that there had been no conversations about her current position.
