Trump Announces Deportation of Venezuelan Leader Nicol¡s Maduro

Bangkok: U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States had attacked Venezuela and arrested Venezuelan President Nicol¡s Maduro, deporting him from the country.

According to Thai News Agency, Trump posted via Truth Social that the U.S. had successfully launched a major offensive against Venezuela, arresting the Venezuelan leader and his wife and deporting them. This was a joint operation with U.S. law enforcement agencies. He will hold a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, Florida at 11:00 AM Eastern Time today.

Trump's post came shortly after the Venezuelan leader declared a nationwide "state of emergency" following multiple attacks on Caracas in the early hours of Saturday local time. This marks the first direct intervention by the United States in Latin America since the invasion of Panama in 1989 to overthrow Manuel Noriega, the Panamanian dictator.
