Bangkok: "Uncle Pom" (Prawit Wongsuwan) invited his classmates from Class 6 of the Royal Thai Army Academy to a secret restaurant serving delicious food that has been around for over 40 years, located at the Royal Thai Army Golf Course. According to Thai News Agency, General Prawit Wongsuwan met with his classmates from six groups of the Royal Thai Army Academy, known as the "First Rain" group, at the Army Sports Development Center, or Army Golf Course, on Ramintra Road. He then invited them to have a meal at his favorite restaurant, "Pa Hong's Curry Rice Shop," located near hole 4 of course 1, a shop that has been open for over 40 years. The restaurant is a small eatery located within the golf course, serving golfers, caddies, and the general public. Popular dishes include pork fried rice, stir-fried catfish with chili, beef curry, and fish cakes. During lunch, General Prawit invited his classmates from the Royal Thai Armed Forces Academy Class 6, who were playing golf, to stop by and join him for a meal and drinks in a friendly atmosphere. Former Supreme Commander General Boonthong Niampradit, who was also playing golf with friends, stopped by to greet them and chat informally. General Prawit said that it is his regular restaurant, which he has frequented since he played golf at this course, and sometimes orders food for delivery to his home, especially the beef curry with fatty meat, which can be eaten with both rice and noodles.
