President Trump and Vice President Pence have emphasized their commitment to an immediate cessation of violence and have called on the governments of Cambodia and Thailand to fully honor their commitments to end the ongoing conflict.

According to EMM, the United States has conveyed its gratitude to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for his leadership and for hosting the ceasefire talks. The U.S. administration is urging all involved parties to adhere strictly to their commitments. Furthermore, the United States has pledged to remain committed to and engaged in this U.S.-Malaysia-organized process to bring an end to the conflict.
