Upper Thailand to Experience Hot Weather Amid Scattered Thunderstorms

Bangkok: Upper Thailand will experience hot weather during the day, while the Northern, Central, and Eastern regions are predicted to have scattered rain.

According to Thai News Agency, the Meteorological Department has reported that a moderate high-pressure system or cold air mass from China is influencing the weather patterns in these areas. This system results in easterly and southeasterly winds covering upper Thailand, leading to the expected weather conditions.

The forecast indicates that the people in the affected regions should be cautious of thunderstorms and take necessary precautions to protect their health from the rising temperatures. The southern region is also anticipated to face scattered thunderstorms due to moderate easterly winds over the Gulf of Thailand, the southern region, and the Andaman Sea. Mariners are advised to be cautious, as wave conditions in the lower Gulf of Thailand are moderate, with waves reaching 1-2 meters high, and potentially exceeding 2 meters during thunderstorms.

Additionally, air pollution levels in upper Thailand remain low to moderate, attributed to good ventilation, providing some relief to residents amidst the fluctuating weather conditions.
