Bangkok: Renovations at the Government House's Khu Fah Building are being carried out urgently to prepare for the impending rainy season. Scaffolding has been erected in front of the building to facilitate painting and the application of silicone sealant to address leaky areas.
According to Thai News Agency, the renovations have been in progress since this morning. The initiative aims to improve the building's appearance ahead of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul's scheduled visit to France from May 21-27, 2026. The work is being prioritized to ensure the building is well-prepared for both the rainy season and the upcoming official visit.
