Varawut Silpa-archa Seeks Family Blessings Before Taking Oath of Office

Bangkok: Varawut Silpa-archa, the newly appointed Minister of Industry, paid respects to his mother, Khunying Jamsai Silpa-archa, and sister, Ms. Kanjana Silpa-archa, prior to taking the oath of office this evening. He sought their blessings and guidance as he prepared to assume his ministerial duties under the "Anutin 2" government.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Varawut visited his family home where he presented a jasmine garland to his mother and sister. He expressed his respect and gratitude, saying to his mother, "Your son has come to ask for your blessings, Mother." Khunying Jamsai responded with her blessings, wishing him success in his endeavors.

Ms. Kanjana expressed her confidence in Mr. Varawut's capabilities, noting her delight in his continued ministerial service. She highlighted his previous roles in various ministries such as Transport, Natural Resources and Environment, Social Development and Human Security, and now Industry. Emphasizing the varied responsibilities across these ministries, she expressed faith in his ability to contribute positively to the nation. Ms. Kanjana advised him to remain mindful and virtuous, believing these attributes would ensure a successful tenure. She wished him health, clarity of mind, and protection, invoking the Triple Gem for his well-being.
