Bangkok: Mr. Wisut Chainaroon, a Pheu Thai Party list MP, has publicly addressed and dismissed rumors suggesting internal conflict within the party over the allocation of eight ministerial seats. He emphasized that all nominees are deemed suitable for their respective positions and stated that further clarification would be provided during the party seminar scheduled for March 24th. Wisut assured that the cabinet lineup from the Pheu Thai party would remain unaffected despite the ongoing speculations.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Wisut expressed confidence that the ongoing investigation by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) into Ms. Sudawan Wangsupakitkosol's alleged land encroachment would not impede her appointment. He mentioned the existence of contingency plans to replace her swiftly with another qualified individual from the party network if necessary. Additionally, Wisut highlighted that the allocation of positions to younger members was based on merit and that the majority of party members respect these decisions, thus ensuring no internal opposition arises from the appointments.
