Volunteer Ranger Fatally Shot by Assailants in Narathiwat

Bangkok: A volunteer defense corpsman was tragically shot dead in Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat Province. The Southern Border Provinces Ranger Forces shared their condolences with the family on their official Facebook page.

According to Thai News Agency, volunteer ranger Na Su Ree Waesamae, 37, from the 46th Ranger Regiment, was shot by three assailants at noon on a road in Bong-o village, bordering the Chanae district. Na Su Ree Waesamae sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the right ribs. The assailants fled the scene through the forest following the incident.

The Southern Border Provinces Ranger Forces’ Facebook page expressed their condolences, stating that medical professionals had made all efforts to save the volunteer ranger’s life. They emphasized the need for justice to be served promptly against those responsible for the attack.
