Prawet: Polling station number 21 in Prawet district is bustling with activity as people arrive to cast their votes. Citizens are excited and arriving in droves, with some traveling from other provinces as early as 3 AM to wait in line.
According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at Kotsapuek Anusorn School in Constituency 21, which includes polling stations 6, 7, and 8, was one of preparation. Election officials ensured the readiness of the polling booths as per the Election Commission (EC) regulations, with voting scheduled to occur between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. From 7 a.m., a significant number of people, predominantly elderly, were seen checking their names on voter registration lists and eagerly waiting to cast their votes.
Around 7:09 AM, a 66-year-old retired man arrived at the polling station, sharing that he and his family traveled from Ang Thong province at 3 AM to vote at their registered polling station, despite having moved to Ang Thong. Other local residents, including a married couple, expressed their excitement and emphasized the importance of exercising their voting rights to help the country progress. They praised the officials for their assistance with the ballot papers and encouraged others not to waste their voting rights.
At polling station 7 in Constituency 21, Pol. Col. Tawee Sodsong, leader of the Prachachart Party, also cast his vote. He noted the lively atmosphere and the high level of participation at the polling station. He emphasized the value of every vote and urged citizens to vote for a better future, highlighting the equal weight of each person's vote.
