Warning to 7 provinces to monitor Chao Phraya River levels

Director of the 12th Irrigation Office, Chai Nat Province, issued a letter warning the governors of 7 provinces in the Chao Phraya Basin to closely monitor the water situation. Mr. Watchara Kraisai, Director of the 12th Irrigation Office in Chainat Province, issued a water situation warning letter to the governors of 7 provinces in the Chao Phraya Basin: Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singburi, Angthong, Suphanburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, and Lopburi, to prepare for the water situation and to publicize a warning to people living along both sides of the Chao Phraya River to closely monitor the water situation after there was still rain and floodwater from the upper part of the Chao Phraya River Basin flowing into the Chao Phraya Dam, causing the water level above the dam to rise to 16.47 meters. It is expected that the amount of water flowing through the Chao Phraya Dam will tend to increase to around 500-700 cubic meters per second, causing the riverside area from the end of the Chao Phraya Dam to have the water level rise by another 1-1.20 meters.
