The match ended 2-2 after 90 minutes, forcing extra time of 30 minutes. Despite this, neither team scored, leading to a penalty shootout. West Ham successfully converted all their penalties, winning 5-3 and advancing to the quarter-finals. The FA Cup quarter-final draw has set up intriguing matches: Southampton will face Arsenal, Chelsea will take on Port Vale, Manchester City will go head-to-hea d with Liverpool, and West Ham will meet Leeds United.
