Whoscall Unveils New Digital Protection Vision at Bangkok Trust Conference

Bangkok: Whoscall announced a new vision at Trust Conference Bangkok 2025, launching a new platform aimed at becoming a community that protects the digital society from scammers. From Caller ID features to a community protection platform using AI, scam reporting, and user engagement to create digital safety in everyday life.

According to Thai News Agency, Gogolook (Thailand), a TrustTech developer and service provider of the Whoscall app, held its first Whoscall Trust Conference Bangkok 2025 under the theme ‘Innovating for Trust, Powered by All Thais.’ The event aimed to highlight Whoscall’s mission to strengthen community trust and enhance digital threat protection in Thailand.

This event also marked another significant step forward with the official launch of the redesigned Whoscall app. The app has evolved beyond simply a caller ID feature to become a comprehensive digital protection platform for everyday communications. The new Whoscall features AI-powered defense, user reporting, gamified rewards, and a community-driven contribution system to enable users to effectively protect themselves from fraud. These innovations truly make digital security a part of everyday life for all Thais. Users can download the Whoscall app for free.

The Whoscall Report 2025 found that scams have become a part of the daily life of Thai people. A survey of 1,000 Thai people found that 72% of respondents had encountered scams or fraudsters, and 60% had fallen victim, with total damage exceeding 115 billion baht. These figures reflect a “crisis of confidence” in daily communication among Thai people that is occurring at the national level.

Manwoo Ju, CEO of Gogolook (Thailand), emphasized the significance of these statistics, stating, “These figures are more than just statistics, they reflect the ‘shattered trust in our digital lives.’ At Whoscall, we believe that innovation only matters if it can ‘lift that trust.’ That’s why our new mission is to promote trust and safety in Thai society through the power of innovation and people.”

He further elaborated on the company’s strategies in Thailand, which include upgrading Whoscall into a comprehensive digital protection platform, expanding a nationwide partnership ecosystem to strengthen safety, and fostering sustainable business growth. The aim is to empower communities, build trust, and jointly build a safer digital future for all.

Ms. Thitinan Suthinaraphan, Global Marketing Director of Gogolook (Thailand), highlighted the role of AI technology in developing intelligent features to protect Thais from scams and elevating Whoscall to a community-powered online protection platform. She noted that combining AI with community strength is what makes Whoscall unique.

“This revamp of Whoscall isn’t limited to a new look, but rather encompasses features, branding, concepts, and user experiences, ensuring continuous improvement to fully protect Thais in the digital age. At the heart of Whoscall is community. Every time we report a scam, we’re not just protecting ourselves, but also protecting society. Every report can truly save a life. Today, Whoscall invites all Thais to join us in protecting, reporting, and receiving rewards. The more we help, the more aware we are and safer we’ll be,” added Ms. Thitinan.
