Mr. Worasit expressed his commitment to re-examining past corruption cases, specifically a district officer examination from over a decade ago, stating that any actionable evidence found will be pursued.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Worasit discussed the possibility of an overhaul of the entire civil service recruitment examination within the Ministry of Interior. He emphasized the necessity of examining the facts in each case and assured that credible evidence of corruption would prompt decisive action. The meeting prioritized addressing corruption in local government examinations, with Mr. Worasit highlighting a pressing issue of public interest alongside the regular agenda. He also mentioned his earlier discussion with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, inquiring about the Ministry's progress on general matters.
