Koh samui: The Xperience World Koh Samui, in collaboration with esteemed fashion designer Kai Augus, hosted a unique Pre-Songkran fashion show, offering attendees an exclusive glimpse into the Songkran festivities with a lively water fight celebration. According to Thai News Agency, the event combined art and fashion in an unforgettable spectacle that underscored Koh Samui's reputation as a must-visit global destination. The highlight of the day was the fashion show, featuring designs by Kai Augus, a rising star known for his work with internationally acclaimed DJs at Tomorrowland Belgium and the upcoming Tomorrowland Thailand. The event was meticulously organized by marketing visionary Ms. Chantharapat Kittinattrakul (Jill Yallop), who orchestrated the collaboration with award-winning designers and prominent figures in the fashion industry. Attendees who donned traditional Thai attire and jeans enjoyed complimentary entry, bypassing the usual fees of 1,500 THB for locals and 500 THB for residents. The day unfolded with a full schedule of activities, including Thai and international cuisine, sound healing, a vibrant foam party, traditional Thai dance performances, and the exclusive fashion show. The event also showcased fabric designs representing the nine provinces of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Eastern Region, crafted by Ms. Kanokkittika Kritwuttikorn, the regional director, as part of the "Colorful East" initiative. Kai Augus's collection, inspired by the colors of the Samui sea, featured cooling designs in white and blue/indigo hues, providing a stylish counter to the intense Songkran heat. The show concluded with a surprise birthday celebration for the designer, adding a personal touch to the evening's festivities. The venue, praised by international visitors as reminiscent of a Thai Disneyland, featured a heart-shaped swimming pool that mirrored the Samui island fabric patterns. Distinguished guests included Mr. Amorn Chumchay, District Chief of Koh Samui, Ms. Nichtharasm Wanichcharoen, Dire ctor of the TAT Koh Samui Office, and representatives from the Koh Samui Radio Station. The event's hosts, Mr. John Charles Bentley Suart and his wife Ekaterina Pigareva [Kate], warmly welcomed guests, capturing memories with photos amidst the stunning backdrop of The Xperience World. The Xperience World, a sprawling attraction spanning over 120 rai (approximately 48 acres), is a testament to artistic and architectural brilliance, featuring a skywalk offering panoramic views and an array of sculptures and artworks. This remarkable venue, with its enchanting nighttime illuminations, continues to draw tourists from around the globe, solidifying Koh Samui's status as a premier travel destination.
