Bangkok: "Yotchanan" launches a convoy of Pheu Thai's EV campaign vehicles before heading to Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani. Yotsanan launched a convoy of Pheu Thai's electric campaign vehicles (EVs) touring Bangkok, focusing on communicating policies and changing candidate numbers according to area. He encouraged supporters to wave and greet them. This evening, the party will campaign in Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, along with Mr. Suksit Srijomkwan, the party's spokesperson, led a convoy of new-style electric campaign vehicles from in front of the Pheu Thai Party headquarters. Mr. Yotsanan test-rode the vehicles and their systems before the convoy departed to campaign around Bangkok.
Mr. Yotsanan stated that this is an additional approach for communicating the Pheu Thai Party's policies to the public. Today, they are launching a policy vehicle, an electric vehicle (EV), to reduce pollution. He added that while they are trying to reduce campaign signs in various areas, some are still present. The addition of these vehicles will focus on communicating policies and changing the candidate's number on screens as the vehicle travels through different districts. He also emphasized that policies can be adjusted and that they remain strictly within the budget.
Mr. Yotsanan further stated that there is currently a demand for EVs. If there is significant government demand, and we invest in this area, especially with Thai-made products, it will be beneficial. This will certainly be a step forward in improving the industry.
Mr. Yotsanan also said that after the release of those detained, more campaign vehicles of the Pheu Thai Party will be seen on the streets. People can wave and greet them, and if he is driving one himself, they can even greet him as well.
Reporters say that this evening (January 19th), Mr. Yoschanan will be campaigning in Nonthaburi province, meeting with the public and giving a speech at the Nonthaburi pier, and will continue his campaign in Pathum Thani province, where he will also hold a rally.
