Yotsanan Wongsawat Campaigns with Pheu Thai Party Candidates at Warorot Market in Chiang Mai

Chiang mai: "Yotchanan" led Pheu Thai Party parliamentary candidates on a campaign tour of Kad Luang market, stopping to greet Aunt Arun Sri, a long-established newspaper shop owner and a fan of Thaksin. Merchants and vendors gave them a warm welcome.

According to Thai News Agency, at 12:00 PM, Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, visited Warorot Market (Kad Luang) in Chiang Mai to campaign for Dr. Teerapat Tonpiriyakul, candidate for Chiang Mai Constituency 1 (number 6), and Dr. Phetthai Tesolarn, candidate for Chiang Mai Constituency 2 (number 1).

Upon arriving, Mr. Yotsanan and his group entered the market and stopped at Aunt Arun Sri's newspaper stand. This is an old newspaper stand that former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has frequented since childhood, and he always visits during every election campaign for the Pheu Thai party.

During his visit to Aunt Arunsi, Mr. Yotchanan pointed to a photograph of former Prime Ministers Thaksin Shinawatra, Yingluck Shinawatra, and Paetongtarn Shinawatra with Aunt Arunsi and exclaimed, "Wow, that's everyone!" Dr. Theerapat, candidate for MP in Chiang Mai District 1, number 6, then showed Mr. Yotchanan a book, explaining that it was a book his grandmother had kept, and that it belonged to Mr. Thaksin. The two then discussed Mr. Thaksin's book.

Then, Mr. Yotsanan walked around greeting vendors in the market. While walking, he noticed some shops had signs advertising the "Half-Price Plus" project, prompting him to jokingly remark that soon the Pheu Thai party would have a 70-30 split.

During his campaign trail, Mr. Yotchanan and the Pheu Thai Party candidates received a positive response. Vendors greeted them, asked for photos, and offered Mr. Yotchanan Chiang Mai local delicacies such as kalamae (a traditional Thai sweet) to try. Some shouted his name and offered words of encouragement, saying "Keep fighting!"
