Bangkok: Professor Dr. Yotsanun Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), led a group of Pheu Thai ministers in paying respects to sacred sites at Government House before attending a special cabinet meeting. Joining him were Mr. Julaphan Amornvivat, Minister of Labour, Mr. Nikorn Somklang, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, and Mr. Akranan Kankittinant, Deputy Minister of Education. This gathering marked the first cabinet meeting following the government's policy statement to Parliament.
According to Thai News Agency, ministers and their teams arrived at Government House continuously before the meeting commenced. The ministers were observed wearing white shirts as they gathered to pay respects to the sacred objects, a gesture of reverence before engaging in the day's official proceedings.
