Young Man Arrested for Strangling Girlfriend and Hiding Body in Phitsanulok Room

Phitsanulok: Police took a young man who strangled his girlfriend and hid her body in a room in the middle of Phitsanulok to reenact the crime to support his confession. The man expressed regret and thought about ending his life but did not have the courage, so he fled before being cornered and arrested.

According to Thai News Agency, police arrested Mr. Surasak, 30, the suspect in the murder of his girlfriend, Ms. Kittikan, 28, to reenact the crime in a room in Phitsanulok Province amidst tight security. During questioning, the suspect confessed that he had just returned from a trip to Koh Chang, where he had argued with the victim throughout the trip. When they returned to the room, the argument was still intense. In his anger, he strangled her once, but the victim was still alive. They argued again, and eventually decided to use a phone charger to strangle her until she died. He then turned on the air conditioner and hid his girlfriend’s body in the room. Later, he felt sorry and tried to kill himself, but he did not dare. He decided to escape from the room in the evening of May 10, until he was arrested by the police. He is initially charged with ‘intentional murder.’
