Bangkok:The "Kao Duay Tham 10th Charity Walk-Run" is set to take place on Sunday, January 17, 2027, at the City Hall Plaza in Bangkok. This event invites participants from all walks of life, whether they are serious runners, health enthusiasts, or individuals who wish to contribute to a charitable cause without running.

According to Thai News Agency, the proceeds from the event will be used to procure medical equipment and support 19 hospitals. These funds aim to assist emergency patients, people in remote areas, and impoverished patients awaiting treatment.

Participants can choose between several categories, including a non-running category with a general fee of 500 baht and a VIP option for 1,000 baht. The 5km run, which is non-competitive, requires a general fee of 600 baht or a VIP fee of 1,100 baht. The competitive 10.5 km running event has a general fee of 750 baht and a VIP fee of 1,250 baht. VIP participants will receive additional souvenirs from sponsors.

Prizes will be awarded for the 10.5 km race, with age groups for men and women ranging from 16-29 years to 60 years and above. Overall male and female winners will receive a cash prize of 5,000 baht and a royal trophy. Additionally, 1st-5th place winners in each age group will receive cash prizes ranging from 500-3,000 baht, along with a trophy.

Registration is available through LINE ID @kaoduaydham or in person at Sala Daeng, Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, every Sunday from 1000 AM to 400 PM until all shirts are distributed.
