According to Thai News Agency, the 1st Army Area Command expresses its deepest condolences to the family of Sergeant Major Peerayut Nawilaijaroen, a member of the 2nd Artillery Battalion, 2nd Artillery Regiment, Royal Guard. He lost his life while on duty in the border area of Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province.

The First Army Area Command pays tribute to the soldier who played a part in protecting Thailand's sovereignty in the Thai-Cambodian border situation. The funeral will be conducted with full honors, and all entitlements will be fully protected for the family.
