According to Thai News Agency, the campaign features Dr. Palm, a "dark horse" candidate, who is advocating for the continuation of honest politics and encouraging everyone to vote for candidate number 27. The Democrat Party has initiated a door-to-door campaign in the historic Chao Phraya riverside area, spearheaded by party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva and supported by deputy party leaders Sakoltee Phatthiyakul and Radklao Suwannakiri (Nene), as well as Ongart Klamphaiboon and Chanin Rungsang, candidates on the party list (number 27). They are rallying support for Dr. Wisawat Thongtheeraphap (Palm), the party's candidate for Bangkok Constituency 32 (number 14), amidst a vibrant atmosphere.
The campaign trail began at Wat Suwannaram in Ban Bu community, a culturally significant area in the Siriraj district, and continued through Wat Rakhang community and Wang Lang Market. The candidates received a warm reception from a diverse group of supporters, including children, youth, working adults, and the elderly.
The campaign emphasized memorable communication slogans to resonate with Thonburi residents, showcasing the capability of candidates in both district and party-list systems. Voters were encouraged to support Dr. Wisawat (Palm), number 14, as a representative for the younger generation, or to vote for Abhisit Vejjajiva, an experienced candidate, to return as Prime Minister. The call to cast a ballot for number 27 on the pink ballot, representing the party-list system, was reiterated.
