Krabi: Abhisit Vejjajiva and the Democrat Party delegation visited Krabi, where they received a warm welcome from the residents of Khlong Thom and offered their support for his bid to become Prime Minister.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party, along with Mr. Chaiwut Bannawat, party secretary-general, and other key figures, met with the public at Khlong Thom Fresh Market in Khlong Thom District, Krabi Province.
As for the atmosphere, as soon as the delegation arrived, merchants and locals who were shopping greeted them in a friendly manner. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, reflecting the long-standing relationship between the people in the area and the Democrat Party.
Mr. Abhisit walked around, greeting and listening closely to the economic concerns and suggestions of the people of Krabi. A highlight of this moment was when an elderly woman, who had been waiting for the delegation with anticipation, shook Mr. Abhisit's hand and offered a hopeful blessing, saying, "May you return as Prime Minister."
The well wishes drew cheers and loud applause of "Amen!" from the surrounding crowd who were offering their support. Mr. Abhisit thanked them with a smile, reaffirming his commitment to working for honest and constructive politics to improve the well-being of the people in the South and all Thais.
