Nakhon si thammarat: Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party and prime ministerial candidate, visited the Tha Wang community in Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, to support Mr. Songsak Musikong, a candidate for the Member of Parliament in Constituency 1. The event was marked by a lively atmosphere along Ratchadamnoen Road, where numerous residents and business owners gathered to greet him and take photos.

According to Thai News Agency, a touching moment occurred when the grandchild of an elderly woman, who was unable to walk and seated in a car, expressed her grandmother's wish to meet Mr. Abhisit. Responding promptly, Mr. Abhisit approached the vehicle, where the woman embraced and kissed him, moved to tears as she offered heartfelt blessings, hoping for his return as Prime Minister.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Abhisit met with government officials and municipal employees in Nakhon Si Thammarat, maintaining a warm and friendly rapport. People along his route enthusiastically waved and called out, eager for commemorative photos with him.

Mr. Abhisit also extended an invitation to the residents of Nakhon Si Thammarat to join the Democrat Party's major rally scheduled for February 1, 2026, at the city square in Mueang District. He assured that he would address the crowd to elaborate on the party's policies, aiming to bolster public confidence ahead of the election.
