Singer New Napassorn Faces Challenges as Son Falls Ill and Plans to Sell Chiang Mai Land to Fund Education

Bangkok: The new year brought unexpected challenges for New Napassorn, a singer and devoted mother, as she faced a health scare with her nearly 2-year-old son, Space, and announced plans to sell her land in Chiang Mai to support his education.

According to Thai News Agency, New Napassorn shared that her son had been suffering from a cough and fever since December 29th. On New Year's Eve, while at Khao Yai, Space's condition worsened, reaching a fever of nearly 40 degrees Celsius. Despite the lack of nearby hospitals, New and her partner, Peck Premnat, vigilantly cared for him throughout the night, fearing the possibility of a seizure.

Space's illness also included episodes of vomiting, which, while temporarily alleviating his symptoms, did not completely bring down his fever. New expressed that the experience was agonizing, wishing she could take her son's place. However, she has since confirmed that Space has fully recovered, describing the ordeal as a tough but valuable test at the beginning of the year. Reflecting on her journey as a mother, New finds joy in her son's growth and cherishes the close bond they share, knowing it might change as he grows older.

In a separate development, New revealed plans to sell her land in Chiang Mai, the location of her wedding with Peck and the former site of the Brand New Field Good cafe. Due to economic challenges and the demands of raising young children, the couple decided to sell the property to fund their children's education. The 2-rai plot, located in Hang Dong district with scenic waterfront and mountain views, is valued at over 10 million baht. Despite their sentimental attachment to the land, New and Peck are open to potential buyers, emphasizing that while memories are precious, they can be recreated.
