New york: Alicia Keys has tapped Ne-Yo to star in the musical Hell’s Kitchen, based on her life. R and B queen Alicia Keys has recently tapped the ethereal prince of 2000s R and B, Shaffer Chimere Smith, better known as Ne-Yo. Alicia expressed her delight at working with Ne-Yo, teasing fans that he’s “going to add a little magic to this show with his incredible talent.” She also added, “It’s going to be a fun show you’ll never forget.”
According to Thai News Agency, Ne-Yo takes over the role of Davis, Ali’s father, from Tank (Durrell Tank Babbs). “I’ve been on stage a lot in my life, but to do Broadway is something new and amazing,” said the R and B prince. “Alicia has created a whole world that’s so raw and soulful, and I believe the role of Davis will allow me to explore new dimensions of storytelling that I’ve never done before.”
The Hell’s Kitchen Broadway Musical will be performed at New York’s Shutburg Theater, with Ne-Yo making his debut on December 4, 2025.
