Anutin Charnvirakul Confident in Securing Victory in Bangkok

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul has expressed confidence in securing a victory in Bangkok, choosing not to comment further on Abhisit Vejjajiva's assertion that voters will continue to favor the blue party. He emphasized that the Bhumjaithai Party refrains from criticizing the policies of other parties or inciting hatred towards them.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin Charnvirakul, in his capacity as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party and serving as both Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, addressed the party's popularity at a market in front of Phra Nangklao Hospital in Nonthaburi Province. He responded to the recent statement by Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party, regarding the similarities between electing the "blue" party and the previous "orange" party. Anutin stated that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that it is best to focus on presenting the party's policies and strengths without disparaging or criticizing other parties' policies.

Anutin further highlighted that the Bhumjaithai Party does not dictate or criticize the policies of other parties. He asserted that all policies are designed to benefit the public and are approved by the party's executive committee. The party has maintained a stance of not inciting hatred or negativity towards other parties.

When questioned about his confidence in securing a victory in Bangkok, Anutin expressed confidence in the candidates, highlighting that they have strong backgrounds and close ties to the areas they represent.

In a light-hearted moment, Anutin jokingly remarked on the Prime Minister's estimate of Thailand receiving 200 seats, humorously commenting, "Yesterday Seats Over 20,000 in Suphan Buri!" before laughing.
