Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, casually shopped for clothes and showed his MP ID card before returning to Government House. He was seen smiling as he walked through a market, greeting vendors and purchasing clothing items before leading the Bhumjaithai Party team to report to Parliament. Despite requests for interviews, Anutin declined, instead displaying his MP ID card for the media before making his way back to Government House.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin, in his role as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, led party-list and constituency MPs to report to the Secretariat of the House of Representatives following their certification at the Election Commission. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by party leaders and other MPs.
During his walk past the Emerald Pool, Anutin stopped at an agricultural product market and shops selling consumer goods. He purchased two tank tops, one short-sleeved shirt, and one long-sleeved shirt, engaging vendors with inquiries about the government's co-payment scheme.
Anutin later regrouped with MPs who arrived by bus from the party headquarters, collectively proceeding to the registration point on level B1. Accompanying Anutin were Mr. Chaiyanok Chidchob, Mr. Chada Thaiseth, Mr. Santi Promphat, Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul, Mr. Ekanat Promphan, and Mr. Tanakorn Wangboonkhongchana, followed by MPs from various groups.
After completing registration, Anutin left with the MPs, greeting Bhumjaithai Party leaders and the media with a smile. Opting out of an interview, he noted a meeting at Government House awaited him. He then ascended the escalator, showcasing his MP identification card for the media to capture.
