Anutin Charnvirakul Set To Appoint Bow Nattha As Spokesperson For Key Economic Councils

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul is preparing to appoint Nattaporn "Bow" as the spokesperson for the Center for Economic Situation Administration (CESA). Bow has already observed the press conference and is preparing to begin her duties tomorrow.

According to Thai News Agency, this development follows recommendations presented by Mr. Kasemsan Veerakul, a member of the Public Relations Committee, to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul during a "Meet the Press" event. The event, held at Government House, focused on Thailand's strategy in response to global crises.

Recent reports suggest that Anutin is also considering appointing Nattha Mahatthana, known as Bow, as the spokesperson for the Center for Monitoring and Managing the Situation in the Middle East (CMZ). Bow is recognized as an academic and activist.

During today's press conference at the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) in the Phakdi Bodin Building, Bow was present as an observer. When questioned about the possibility of being appointed as the spokesperson for the National Security Council, Bow mentioned that no official appointment letter had been received yet.

Reports indicate that the Public Relations Department's press briefing center is revamping its approach to daily briefings. The new format will feature a primary spokesperson who will deliver briefings, supported by supplementary information from related agencies. This change is set to take effect on March 31, 2026.

Furthermore, it has been noted that Nattha Mahatthana has been an integral part of Anutin's working team and has been involved with the Bhumjaithai Party for an extended period.
